Mariia joined the D’Amore team in 2024 as a Behavioral Health Technician and later transitioned into her current role as a Group Facilitator. She is pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University and also holds a Master of Science in Computer Science.
Mariia has experience supporting adults in residential treatment as they navigate a range of mental health disorders. Drawing on her background in technology and systems thinking, she brings a unique perspective to understanding behavioral patterns and the role of technology addictions in modern life. Her clinical interests include trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and developing frameworks for addressing behavioral addictions. Mariia is committed to helping clients increase self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with their authentic selves.
At D’Amore, she continues to grow her clinical skills through group facilitation and interactive, experiential approaches. Outside of work, Mariia is enthusiastic about improvisational comedy, which she enjoys both as a creative outlet and as a way of cultivating presence and connection.
