Community Mental Health Night

Life is so good with a team—and at D’Amore Mental Health, we believe that community connection is essential to mental wellness. That’s why we’re proud to host Community Mental Health Night, a recurring event designed to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can openly discuss mental health challenges, ask questions, and find hope in shared experiences.

Whether you’re personally navigating mental health difficulties, supporting a loved one through their journey, or simply seeking to better understand mental health conditions, Community Mental Health Night offers an evening of understanding, support, and healing. This event brings together community members, mental health professionals, and individuals with lived experience to break down the barriers of stigma and silence that too often prevent people from seeking the help they need.

In a warm, professional atmosphere led by D’Amore’s experienced clinical team, attendees have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about a wide range of mental health topics. Our presentations cover conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, OCD, personality disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Beyond clinical information, we address the real-world challenges that accompany mental health struggles—recognizing warning signs in loved ones, navigating the treatment landscape, understanding insurance coverage, and building sustainable support systems.

Community Mental Health Night reflects D’Amore’s core commitment to reducing the shame cycle that often surrounds mental illness. Just as our Build Me Up Program® fosters healing through positive reinforcement rather than punishment, these community events create an environment of compassion, validation, and hope. We recognize that asking for help takes courage, and sometimes the first step is simply showing up to learn and listen.

Each session includes time for questions and answers, allowing attendees to receive guidance from mental health professionals in a non-clinical setting. You’ll leave with practical resources, including information about D’Amore’s treatment programs, community mental health services, crisis intervention resources, and strategies for supporting your own mental wellness or that of someone you care about.

These events are free and open to the community. No registration is required—simply show up ready to be part of a conversation that could change your perspective, deepen your understanding, or even save a life. Mental health challenges affect individuals across all demographics, backgrounds, and life circumstances. By coming together as a community, we can break the stigma and break the silence surrounding mental illness.

Join us for our next Community Mental Health Night and discover that you’re not alone. At D’Amore Mental Health, we’re here to illuminate your path to recovery, resilience, and renewed well-being—one conversation at a time.

We host Community Mental Health Night every:

  • Monday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm
  • Thursday from 3:30pm to 4:30pm

These gatherings provide education, open discussions, and peer support led by our behavioral health professionals. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re seeking support for yourself, a loved one, or simply want to learn more about mental health.
