Elissa was born and raised in Southern California and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California in 2020.

She began her career with nearly three years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), working closely with children on the autism spectrum. She later transitioned into the mental health field, focusing primarily on adult populations. Elissa joined D’Amore in 2021 as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and has since advanced into her current role as Operations Manager through her dedication and commitment to growth.

Elissa is passionate about continuing to expand her career in the mental health field and is driven by a desire to help reduce stigma and promote greater understanding around mental health.
