Mehroz is a Registered Nurse with a background in both nursing and kinesiology. His education provided a strong understanding of how physical health, mental health, and overall wellness are connected, and he has always been passionate about caring for the whole person. He is also certified in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI), with training in de-escalation and safe, respectful care.
At D’Amore, Mehroz provides nursing care to residents and works closely with the treatment team to support each person’s recovery. He also facilitates groups on topics such as medication management, sleep hygiene, and coping skills, working to make these sessions interactive, practical, and welcoming. He believes every individual deserves to feel heard, supported, and hopeful, and he finds it meaningful to help patients gain the knowledge and confidence to care for themselves after treatment.
Mehroz feels it is a privilege to be part of the D’Amore team. Outside of work, he enjoys barbecuing, gardening and playing soccer. His favorite quote is, “Kindness is not found in anything except that it beautifies it.”
