Yamilet Pineda

Group Facilitator

Yamilet joined D’Amore Healthcare in 2024 as a Behavioral Health Technician which quickly reinforced her passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journeys. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton in 2025 and soon after advanced into the role of Group Facilitator, where she helps patients build self-awareness and practical tools to manage life’s challenges.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) at Pepperdine University. One of Yamilet’s professional goals as a future therapist is to create a comfortable environment where patients feel understood, heard, supported, and empowered with hope. She has a strong interest in understanding the roots of emotions and the ways trauma can shape an individual’s life and healing process.

As a Group Facilitator, Yamilet is dedicated to helping patients gain insight into themselves and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. She is committed to fostering growth, resilience, and self-awareness in every group she leads.

Outside of work and school, Yamilet enjoys spending time with her dog, exercising, traveling, live music, and spending time outdoors.
